My first cuttings of Salix Fragilis Decipiens (Welsh White) willow were a present from my fair headed granddaughter because it matched her hair colour. Welsh White willow has a beautiful beige-creamy hue that provides a good colour contrast in your basket work. I like using it in the bases of Irish Skibs when I make them.

Harvested rods can be medium thick in diameter and the willow stools and can grow up to 7ft in height.
