Our Salix Alba (Britzensis) provides sunny yellow colouring to the willow bed as it grows. The rods are distinctively yellow at the butts and orange at the tips. I use Britzensis in my work for colour. Larger rods are particularly useful for festive wreaths and finer, shorter rods are used in my basket work.
Rods dry orange in colour. Stools are generous with their harvest, normally providing rods between 2 feet and 6 feet.
