Salix Triandra (Black Maul) is a traditional basketry willow. Because of this, it is one of the willow varieties most grown on the Somerset Levels. I find that my own basketry students like it because it is malleable and works well with a wide variety of weaving patterns.

We find that we have a good selection of sizes (lengths and thickness) from our plants ranging between 2 feet and 9 feet.
