Melt and Pour Soap Making

£60.00

Workshop Overview

At the Rural Skills Centre, we love making our own soaps; being imaginative and creating our own favourite scents and colourways. The ‘melt and pour’ approach to soap making doesn’t involve lye which enables you to focus on the creativity of colour and colouring techniques. So, come and learn how to make your own bars of beautifully marbled soaps.  They are colourful and creative gifts … or better still use them yourself!

At the Rural Skills Centre, we teach you the basic skills needed to make melt and pour soap. You will find out which equipment is essential and which isn’t. You will learn about the importance of safe working, the main soap bases and colouring to make your own hand crafted, artisan soap.

This half day course will enable you to make soaps that will impress friends and relatives. All ingredients and equipment required to make your soap will be provided. The workshop also makes a wonderful gift is you are looking for a present.
